Rajesh Nair’s career bridges engineering, entrepreneurship, and education, but at its core is a lifelong commitment to understanding how people learn to create.

After studying physics, electronics, and manufacturing engineering, Rajesh built a successful career developing innovative products and solving complex engineering challenges. As a co-founder and technical leader, he helped build technology companies serving global industries, with products used in telecommunications, healthcare, and defense. His entrepreneurial work earned industry recognition and demonstrated the value of combining technical expertise with practical problem-solving.

His perspective shifted through graduate research at MIT’s System Design and Management program as an MIT–Tata Fellow. Rather than focusing solely on technology, he began asking a different question: What creates innovators in the first place?

That question led to years of field research across rural villages, urban schools, universities, and underserved communities. Working with students, teachers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers, Rajesh developed and refined what would become the Zero2Maker framework, a practical approach that helps people move from passive learning to confident creation.

As a founding faculty member of the Asia School of Business in Kuala Lumpur and founder of EnCube Labs, he expanded this work internationally through workshops, research, and educational initiatives spanning India, Malaysia, Japan, Vietnam, South Africa, and the United States.
